They came from all the over the world — Montana. Vermont. Kansas City. Buffalo. London. Arizona. Our destination was Salt Lake City and the kickoff to this insane adventure. We could have spent the afternoon picking up supplies, researching resorts, and tuning gear.
Or do what we usually do. Use some local knowledge to track down some tasty food and drink.
First up on the agenda: Lunch. We were directed to Acme Burger, which is not your ordinary run of the mill burger joint. You just got to love any place that considers the Growing Pains theme song as the proper music to enjoy food. If you order anything, get after the Chipotle Bison Burger. Look at the picture below. It tastes as good as it looks. We chased it down with a Spicy Moroccan Lamb Burger and homemade chips slathered with blue cheese and bacon.
After stuffing ourselves with red meat, we needed something to wash it down. Lucky for us, the Red Rock Brewing Company was just across the street. Can’t decide between all the brews?
